Help feed a poor college student, and get an awesome hat to boot! I am a dummy!

My feedback: (as a buyer & seller of clothing; I have no feedback page for my commissions yet)

All prices are in USD. Shipping within the United States is $4. International shipping is $10.

Simple hats - $15+
Something like this Bellsprout hat with lining, simple eyes and hanging vines would be about $18.

Standard hats - $20+
Come with several features such as lining, ear flaps, ears, horn, mane, face, cutie marks, etc. Prices increase as you add more features. All hats listed below are $20.

Extravagant hats - $30+
These hats feature complex details and/or more expensive fabrics. These fabrics are not always available, as I'm limited to what I can find in my local stores, but let me know what you're looking for and I'll see if I can find it. Check the deviations for prices.

How to order a hat from me:
We talk about what you want, you pay, I make your hat and ship it to you.

:bulletblue: Decide what you want your hat to look like. I can make animals, monsters, cartoon characters, etc. If you want a hat that looks like one I've already made, let me know. If not, find a picture, draw a sketch or write a description of what you want it to look like.

:bulletblue: Measure your head circumference. If you can't do this, tell me who the hat is for (e.g. adult woman, adult man, 6 month old baby) and I will make an educated guess. Fleece is stretchy, so there's a little wiggle room.

:bulletblue: Gather your money and choose your method of payment. Paypal is my preferred method of payment. If you do not have a Paypal account, I will accept devArt points.

:bulletblue: Send me a note or facebook message titled COMMISSION with the above information (what the hat will look like, head size, and payment method). After you do this, I will give you a price estimate.

:bulletblue: If you haven't provided me with a picture or sketch of what the hat will look like, I will draw a sketch and show it to you. If you want to change what it will look like, now is the time to let me know! I will give you an exact price quote after you decide precisely what you want.

:bulletblue: When you're ready, you will send your payment and give me your address so I know where to send the hat.
loot Paypal: Send me a message with your Paypal email address. I will send you an invoice.
Points Points: I will open up a slot for you with the Commissions widget on my profile page, and you will pay there. However, it will be more expensive this way, because I will raise the price by 20% to cover the 20% tax devArt takes out for use of the widget. I will only accept points payed through the widget, because I can then convert them to USD (which I can then use to buy groceries and books).

:bulletblue: After you send your payment, I will make your hat. This will take about a week.

:bulletblue: When I am finished making your hat, I will send you a photo and then ship it to you!

I met a woman who runs a local jewelry shop, and we talked about how she lets over 40 local artists sell their wares in her store. I told her that I make fleece hats, and she invited me to bring them in to show her. I whipped up a few hats sized for newborn baby heads: one blue bear, one pink cat, and one yellow bunny. She thought they were darling, and invited me to sell my hats in the shop!

I also got to participate in an artist showcase extravaganza, where I sat at a little table outside the shop with the other artists and showed people my work. I ended up selling the pink kitty hat to a pregnant woman. It made me so happy to see something I made put such a big smile on someone's face. I hope she and her baby enjoy the hat.

I have a facebook page for my hat business now, and would appreciate it if you guys could stop by and like my page! www.facebook.com/MissMaryMuffe…

I'm open for fleece hat commissions, and will be making a post about that very soon. I just want to upload more photos of my work first. :D

I've been doing so much sewing lately! I'm working on a rather large, secret sewing project for holiday gifts for my friends. There were several times over the past few weeks that I was ready to throw the sewing machine through the window. Thankfully, my lovely boyfriend was there to tell me to KEEP CALM and SEW ON.

After the holidays are over, I will be uploading photos of the project. Trust me when I say that it's pretty amazing!

Hint, hint: If any of you are Bronies, you're gonna love this! Stay tuned.

The autumnal equinox is a time of balance, rest, relaxation, and reflection.

The darkness of winter will soon be upon us.

Let us take time to pay our respects to the waning sunlight and celebrate the year's harvests.

Give thanks for your prosperity and wellbeing. Times are hard... but think about those that are less fortunate than you, and be thankful that you have what you have.

What will you be doing to celebrate? I plan on taking long walks once the weather cools down and reflecting on the past year while contemplating my future.

I look forward to feasting and resting during the autumn season! ^_^
