I met a woman who runs a local jewelry shop, and we talked about how she lets over 40 local artists sell their wares in her store. I told her that I make fleece hats, and she invited me to bring them in to show her. I whipped up a few hats sized for newborn baby heads: one blue bear, one pink cat, and one yellow bunny. She thought they were darling, and invited me to sell my hats in the shop!
I also got to participate in an artist showcase extravaganza, where I sat at a little table outside the shop with the other artists and showed people my work. I ended up selling the pink kitty hat to a pregnant woman. It made me so happy to see somethin
